Location and Background

Classified and registered with SAM as a Woman-Owned Disadvantaged small business, Rhonik Design Solutions, cage code 8TWL8, is owned and run by Rhonda Wright.

Operating since early 2019 in the city of Sylmar, a small suburb at the northern part of Los Angeles county, Rhonik Design Solutions (RDS) was conceived by a group of engineers who saw too many no-bids to the US Government from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for fielded systems which are still needed to support our troops.  

These no-bids go out either because the OEMs become focused on the next generation product or because the quantiles requested for spare parts are too low to create a profit. (The costs for a large corporation to profit on that $25 widget is difficult due to high overhead and G&A costs.)  This becomes more manageable for the OEMs with large orders, but cost-prohibitive at low quantities.

Meanwhile, USG budgets are becoming increasingly tighter, requiring systems to be supported long past originally intended.
